Akia runs guest messaging and the phone line from one AI. The Akia home page says "the same Akia that answers your messages runs your phone line", holding a conversation and taking payment before the call ends. Its Skills let you write a procedure in plain steps, and the published maintenance example files a task with the room and the issue, then messages the guest once the task is marked done. Akia says on its guest messaging page that it connects to 20+ property management systems. Akia also sells a vacation rental product that syncs with Escapia, Guesty, Streamline, Hostaway, OwnerRez, and Hostfully, although most of its published case studies are hotels. 2. Besty AI

Besty pairs a confidence-gated autopilot with voice and an operations module. Autopilot Messaging sends only when it's confident, drafts otherwise, and pauses when a guest sounds unhappy, which is close to how HostBuddy behaves. Besty adds an AI Voice Receptionist, labelled Beta, built-in VoIP, and a Cleaning & Ops module with a field app and vendor task links. The integrations page lists 16 PMSs. Pricing is not published.

3. Conduit

Conduit runs configurable AI agents across messaging and voice, and its Full Suite package adds tasks, workforce, scheduling and dispatch, and inventory. Each agent gets its own instructions, model, guardrails, and a per-tool allowlist for every connection, runs in Autopilot or Copilot mode, and can be set differently per channel. Skills are named, versioned instruction packs attached to an agent.

Where HostBuddy raises an Action Item, a Conduit agent can call a deterministic workflow as a tool.
